The 2017 NPGL Online Combine opens in January and will feature position-specific paths for new prospects. It is the first step for athletes on the exciting journey to becoming professional GRID players.

+ What is the NPGL Combine?

The Combine is our recruiting process to find the best and most talented athletes in the world. The sport of GRID is one of the newest, most exciting sports out there, and it’s the highly talented and skilled athletes that bring that excitement. Are you the next superstar on the GRID?

+ Who is it for?

We are looking for a variety of athletes from many different disciplines. High level gymnasts, olympic lifters, powerlifters, crossfitters, to name a few. If you were an athlete in your past or aspire to be one, give it a shot!

+ How long does it last?

We are starting our search for new talent earlier than ever before. Registration begins 1/30 and will contiue through June 30. Team-hosted, in-person Pro Day events (with racing!) will take place between April and June.

+ How much does it cost?

There is one-time payment of $25 to register for the Online Combine. In order to be eligible for the draft you only need to register, make your payment and complete your position-specific GRIDScore.

+ Is there money or prizes involved in the Online Combine?

Yes... to both. When we begin our sponsored testers in March, we'll be giving away thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. Stay tuned for more details as those testers approach!

+ What are Pro Days?

The online combine will continue through June when some of the top talents will be invited by teams to in-person Pro Days for further evaluation and actual GRID racing! Dates are being finalized for April, May and June.

+ What is different about 2017?

The sport is evolving and it requires more specialists for teams to succeed. There will be changes to race formats and elements that require higher level gymnastics, weightlifting and pure athleticsim.

GRID and the NPGL

GRID is a sport featuring two teams racing head-to-head to complete a series of weightlifting, bodyweight and other athletic elements. The National Pro GRID League is the world's first professional co-ed team sports league, with eight teams spread out across the United States. GRID teams must possess intense speed, explosive strength, deep strategy and precise teamwork to complete the races in the fastest possible time.
